'follow me' - you're needy,
'like my stuff' - I might,
'read this' - on my own work,
'look here' - I'm trying to write.
Understand I'll like it,
If it's my sort of thing,
Don't bug me till I do,
For likes that you may wring.
Commenting on my posts,
About your stuff, ignoring mine,
I know it sounds quite pissy,
But I do draw a fine line.
If I want new stuff to read,
I'll write a little post,
Explaining my predicament,
Then suggestions, I'll get a host.
But for now I'm quite content,
To read what I see fit:
So please stop forcing yours on me,
Please stop pushing it.
