What's wrong with twelve year olds?
We're young...so what?
Does that make us bad people?
I don't get why people always stereotype about my generation.
"They all have babies, they're all so lazy now, they have no idea what stress is like, the font know how to work hard, they're all slut and whores, they're all fat, etc..."
I'm twelve and I have a pretty good idea what stress is like. You don't see me pregnant...do you? I work hard every day. I'm only 94 pounds and I wear jeans and a tee-shirt everyday. That makes me a whore? And when was the last time you heard about a twelve year old getting pregnant? Like 2005??? Seriously just stop the stereotyping!!!

I'm twelve and I know loads of people who are 12 too...like my school... Like I sed 'keep calm and relax, you'll live longer!
@mogamary1 , I hate to burst your bubble, but... All you're basically saying is, "Shut up, it's more enjoyable that way." If you really want to help, listen and comfort, not set their problems aside. This means getting involved. I'm not saying what you're saying has merit, but it isn't really practical in those terms. We all need to vent, and want someone to listen and accept us and what we say instead of people telling them to ignore it and smile. It's not so simple, it's not possible. Like crying, can't tell them to be happy and walk away, you're ignoring their problems and not exactly caring. They will still cry, maybe feel more hurt. Hug them, listen to what they have to say, even if you disagree. They won't feel alone, and it will actually help them more so than the other. Sorry if I am being rude in any way, really not. Simply just saying that you're not specifically helping, trying to help you understand, that way you can help more effectively, be more supportive.
Being 12 is a difficult time as we all know, being not quite old enugh to be a teen and yet a little too old to be a kid. When girls in particular try desperately to establish their place in the social society. Unfurtunately the only things we here about when it comes to 12 year olds are negative. I'm really sorry that you feel like this but it's simply the shallowness off the media and the mainstream public.
I'm just 13, I know what it's like being 12 but personally, a lot of our generation are swearing scumbags who use words they shouldn't. I'm not saying everyone is. I'm sure there are plenty of well-behaved 12 year olds out there.
I enjoyed being twelve it was just another year and we didn't focus on trying to be older or out grow that stage in our life as you only live once(maybe) and you are only 12 once so live it to the full ad a 12 year old you may never get the chance again.
As I twelve year old I had the shit kicked out of me in school, my family laughed at how stupid I was, and because I had no friends I spent all my time playing guitar. So everyone saying kids your age are slutty mc.slut sluts with a side of teen pregnancy. Well, how about instead of complaining about it and changing out opinions from that to twelve year olds are just whiney, do something about!? Help someone? Give a homeless guy money? Keep an old lady company? Stop bullies? I bet all the time you spend on Opuss could be spent doing something else. You're at the point in your life where you have The MOST free time, use it.
I'm twelve and I'm enjoying life while I'm not technically a teen because I hear teen life is full of responsibility :)
@EllieSmelly I agree! Im sixteen now, and I can tell you the years fly! All you have at my age are exams, exams, exams, and it gets worse from here! To all you twelve year olds, enjoy your freedom and the ability to be able to stay at home doing something enjoyable rather than having to revise for four hours a day! Seriously, when you're younger all you want to do is fast forward in time, but when you get to my age you want to turn back the clock and have a bit more of that freedom, because from here all the options you can take are college and possibly university, getting a job, having a family and having to become completely adapted to society! It's overwhelming me just going to college in August! All my GCSEs (if any of you are from other countries, they're English qualifications at school) :) and stress and revision! Please enjoy being who you are and take life as it comes :)
