I'll drink myself silly
Fill my glass till it spills
Then slowly pop a packet
And down a bottle of pills
Its me versus nicotine
In a battle of wills
Thousands of cold needles
Just like porcupine quills
I'm an adrenaline junkie
Looking for some new thrills
I'm not interested in paying
All those tiresome bills
Call the barman over
For a couple more refills
So much ice in my glass
I think I got chills
Don't dilute it anymore
I don't care how it fills
I'm in a self-destructive spiral
Take a look at my skills!
There's a buzzing in my head
A hundred dentist drills
Or maybe more like songbirds
And their incessant trills
I wonder how long this
Lifestyle takes when it kills?
I wonder how long it takes
Till my bated breath stills?
