I cried out to the sky
As the stars fell around us,
A scattering of gold dust,
Cathedral bells rang out;
Reminding us of every hour passed,
All I saw was the
Green-amber of your eyes,
Your body my blanket
Until the finality of the sunrise
Took you on the eleven-thirty,
Out of my life, out of the country,
How I hated the regular
Clickty-clack of rusted train tracks
And loathed the white trail
Of a jetting plane, a scar
Upon the perfect autumn blue,
I'll curse them both until
The day they bring you back,
A memory renewed, of taste and smell,
A long-sought after touch,
Of my returning love.

@leelee101 thank you Lee, I hadn't written anything about him for a couple of days, I was getting withdrawal symptoms 😁
@leelee101 thank you! This one is tastefully cropped - I'm hoping the full version will have a similar effect on Johnny 😉😍
Sad but great write. Like everyone else love the pic. You look so different without glasses. Very glam but you look just as nice with the specs. 💚💚💃
@eddie12309 thank Ed, I don't mind wearing my specs but I thought if take them off for extra glamour 😉
