What a weekend it had been! Turns out that Kitty is the crime fighting superhero Miss Curious! Who would have guessed, but then, who would have guessed that I am a masked crime-fighting vigilante?! And above all! Kitty kissed me! It was amazing! And I think, I think I love her...

But now I'm walking to school. Our class is going on a week long camping trip. Whilst we're there we'll have to do survival challenge and rock climbing and stuff. Should be fun! I've got a big back pack on my back. Swiss army knives; pots and pans; cutlery; plates; metal cups and mugs; and most importantly, a tent. It's gunna be a fun week. I turn around the corner and am faced with my entire class in pairs. Two boys, two girls, two boys etc. and then right at the end: Girl. That girl? Kitty. Of course it's her. I jog up to her at the end of the line. No need to be any later. Just as I get to her a large coach pulls up beside us. Two teachers come out of the school. Ms. Finan and Mr. Hughes. Ms. Finan is my French teacher and Mr. Hughes is my English teacher. I hate them both, with a passion.
"Did you know that Hughes and Finan were coming with us?" I whisper to Kitty.
"Well I knew Mr. Hughes was but I thought they'd send two male teachers," she replies.
Mr. Hughes spies us at the back of the line.
"You two!" he shouts. "At the back of the line! Come over here!"
"What does he want?" Kitty says just so I can hear it.
Before I can answer Mr. Hughes starts talking in his horrible raspy voice:
"Now you two," he begins. "You are aware that it is same sex couples on this trip? We don't want a trip the the abortion clinic do we?"
How subtle.
"Sorry Sir but we are the last two left, there's no one else to pair us up with," Kitty explains.
Ms. Finan shouts something and everyone starts clambering on the bus.
"I don't have time for this," Mr. Hughes says. "But if either of you even put one toe out of line..."
He traces his thumb across his neck with a grimace on his face.
"Your gone!"
He walks off and starts shouting at people to line up properly so he can do a roll call.
"That was kinda weird," I say.
"Yeah," says Kitty. "He's never usually this mean..."
We both shrug our shoulders and laugh. We start talking. We're corralled onto the bus by the teachers. We take the only seat left. The one right behind Mr. Hughes and Ms. Finan. Lucky us. They give a quick but boring speech about behaviour and were off. I make a small sound proof barrier around me and Kitty. Kitty. Every time I see her she gets more and more beautiful. The bus pulls out of the school and were away. Camping trip in the middle of nowhere? Here we come.
