Word Banquet

Preparing a dinner,
A feast for a king,
The best of all words,
Are the words I will bring,
There's simile noodles,
And acronym cake,
A steaming ink pie,
And a warm haiku bake,
There's freshly peeled stanzas,
And essence of rhyme,
Personification enhancing the thyme,
Quote tealeaves, joke water,
And synonym milk,
A poem fudge sundae,
And inky cloth silk,
There's character brownies,
Descriptive jam tarts,
With title stamped cupcakes,
And melts cut in parts,
There's custard egg letters,
And Ariel sweets,
With chocolate font smoothies,
And underlined meats,
There's tender pork sentence,
And bullet point jam,
Glazed duck, broiled chapter,
And blurb roasted ham,
Served, paper on platter,
With sauce of a book,
The banquet is served,
Why don't you take a look.

Hail To The King Baby!

It had been a long time coming, he wasn't there because he was vain. He was there because he deserved it, and King Leelee was his name. The throne suited his bottom, as he suited the top.

Poetic Bodily Functions

Twisting and shaping words and vowels Flooding out like emptying dodgy bowels. Paragraphs lining up like steps on a ladder Rhymes pouring out like a really full bladder.

Weasel!

Write a poem about weasels you said. The thought of weasels fills me with dread. Nothing really rhymes with weasels you see. And I'm all about the rhyming and that's just me.

Excellent! Just my sort of thing πŸ‘πŸ‘ Reminds me a little of The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster (one of my absolute all-time fave books). Bravo! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
