(Never done this kind of poem before so be kind!)
I'm exploring a Literary Jungle,
The creatures here are very humble.
No species is the same,
Each group has a name,
Nouns, and such like, they're a jumble!
Together they all mingle and live,
Some try to sort them through this 'sieve',
In categories they'll put them,
But then they lose their rhythm,
No, absolute freedom we must give.
As a writer, I'm here to tame the words,
Make them beautiful, put them into herds,
But they're wild, you see,
It's not that easy,
You can't mix buffaloes and birds!
So we study them, see which get on,
Play with them all day long,
We've grown to love them,
Each one is a gem,
So let's celebrate and write, now be gone!
