(This little poem came to me honestly 2 minutes ago as I saw my cat peer around the corner at me. I said to him "I see you, kitty!" And that's how all this came to mind)
I see you, Kitty
And your wild yellow eyes.
I see you, Kitty
You are not very wise.
For I am a human- clever and above you through the laws of nature.
Ouch!
What Is this?
It seems your claws were faster than my mouth.
I see you, Kitty.
You must be disappointed I am not a mouse!
(I know this poem wasn't very clever or very deep, but I love my cat who remains nameless. He has several names, and my family cannot agree upon one. Anyways, he always likes to lurk where people walk out so he can jump on someone's leg. It's cute as long as he's not scratching you.)
