Try writing about not being able to write! That's your main problem going around in your head so stick it in a poem! Something like- I try with all my might but I just can't seem to write!👍

Short story about a carrot that due to forces unknown to human kind becomes sentient. It contemplates its final hours as a plant knowing that it soon will be harvested. Then after a while it accepts it will be picked and then contemplates what will happen to it. It considers if it would be cooked in a stew etc. Also, it envys turnips because no one eats turnips.

Why not copy the plot of a film and rewrite it in your own style

Maybe try one of the challenges. Look at the household one I've put up. The word I've picked would work really well in a piece about you and your father. Or perhaps write about a simple a simple childhood memory. Hope that helps 👍😘

You could listen to some music that's special to you and see where that takes you, works for me ☺good luck 😊

@sarahgamal you make a good point. All the things that are happening in the world should open my eyes and mind to very emotional feelings, and should allow me to write more. I'll try it out 😊

@blindsilence couldn't stop laughing at this suggestion. I feel I wouldnt do a short story good enough for such a creative idea. But I will certainly give it try nonetheless
