Can any of you lucid dream on command, or experience them often? I want to be able to, so I thought that I'd get a discussion going :)

I can. I do it all the time. Just relax close ya eyes think about something that you want to do. Then I visualise it as if I was actually there! I just picture
Set your alarm half way through your sleep and ask yourself "am I dreaming" then go back to sleep and do the same in your dream, works for me (-:
Myself doing it, then I can stop any time, do what I have to then if I want I can just pick up from where I left off from. I do it a bit about the army
I've been looking into this, it seems the secret is to try to keep your subconscious awake while you're falling asleep. It's happened me a few times but never on command :( dream diaries are apparently the first step, as they help you remember your dreams & connect with them
Try again! I can have lucid dreams sometimes. Often after a few beers. I think it is because of the extra/unusual stimulation of the brain. They are great as you can direct how you want the dream to progress.
Also if your lucid dreaming you can control the outcome and the options and paths you take throughout your dream!
@OllieBoyne sorry about the separate posting my thumbs keep catching the send button lol, and maybe you will someday :)
@OllieBoyne I found that our on the Internet ages ago. Took a while but be patient, it's well worth it. (-:
@Stablish I heard the "am I dreaming" technique works well, as does the "false awakening," where after your alarm goes off you lie still and in your mind, walk through your morning routine, which will eventually bleed into a dream. Although I heard you shouldn't go all matrix / inception straight away or it'll be too exhilarating & you'll wake up... I remember flying a few times tho, that was way awesome
@TommyVice nice stuff, will have to try that as well, will write up some of my experiences soon in poems.
@OllieBoyne for the deeam diary thing. There's an app for that. As soon as you wake up from a dream try to remember and write down what it was... I do a bit but only on weekends and holidays when I have time to write stuff in the mornings.
I always know i'm dreaming. So i can control what i do IN my dream, but not my actual dreams. Sometimes i chose to just let my dream control what i do. And sometimes i wake up and cant remember what i did. And i CA@james
@OllieBoyne I just read through one of my old dreams actually and I JUST realised what it is refering to ^^
@OllieBoyne I actually have them a lot! It kinda feels like i have an over stimulated brain that wont 'switch off'And yeah I can control what happens in them when I want to, that little trick was something I trained myself to do from when I was younger to stop myself from having nightmares. 😊
@OllieBoyne the lucid dreams can get kinda freaky sometimes though if you really have to think hard to remember what you actually did and what you dreamed you did. 😳
Duude once you learn you can't stop lucid dreaming is mostly just having vivid dreams and almost every dream is a nightmare in my head hopefully when you learn it's not I have trouble stopping my lucid dreaming xD
@OllieBoyne I get them a lot, usually closer to morning, but most nights I'll have them, I'm not sure how to go by way of instruction, apart from when you're approaching awakening, try to manipulate what's happening in the dream. Sorry that I'm not very helpful, but good luck! :)
