Confused

I am not a religious person. I wasn't brought up to be.
But sometimes I wonder if life would be different if I were.

Some of the people I have met who have had a belief/faith have been the happiest and most content people.

I guess maybe I am slightly jealous of them.

But I also wonder how they manage to keep their belief
/faith when life throws really hard time at you.

137.The Past

Hello again, and today is Wednesday, January 30, 2013. Lately I've been thinking about the past. More specifically about the past that seems to be a lot better than how it is today.

An Individual Perspective

Its ironic how we always tell ourselves that we are understanding, yet we condem that which goes against our beliefs and morals.

Thank God I'm Alive

I was born in a big family, and every year it gets bigger. Even though I had love for my dad, God was my father figure. Having a father as affectionate as him made me way more caring.

Should

Perfection is what you should see when you look in the mirror,. Pride is what you should feel of your work,. Love is what you should feel from friends and family,. And what you should return,.

Great write and good question

I've been on both sides of the fence and honestly I've struggled in my walk in faith but there's something that pulls me back every time :) cuz I know that no matter how bad things seem to get He'll get me through it. Well that's what I've experienced anyway hope it helps

Great write!! When things go wrong or right in your life who do you blame?? Maybe it's a comfort thing, believing someone or something is looking after you and guiding you? Perhaps the bible and other religious books have an answer for most eventualities? Doesn't happiness come from within? Some find it with "god" and settle for that, the more questions we ask the more complex it becomes tho lol xx

Only God knows ;)

I grew up in a non religious family as well. But after 6 years being interested, getting information and feeling love for 1 religion I decided to convert. Sometimes life brings u into rlly rough situations and I think people need to believe in smth. I like ur write btw 👏👏💋

@sarahgamal @FriendToAnimals @smellyfingers Thank you all of you for your kind words. It's something I struggle with often in my life. I am very happy and am lucky to have an amazing family. I guess that I start to question faith, religion, beliefs, etc.. when I see good, kind people struggle. It makes me angry and upset to think that if their is someone "up there" then why do they not help?

@blindsilence Thank you.

@yasmin777 Thank you very much. I think maybe I find it quite confusing as I don't know much about any of the religions, just small pieces.

@PurpleKel87 I see, but I think it's important to know first about other religious as well 😊 this is how intelligent ppl do ! :)

@PurpleKel87 I see :) yes, I think it's important to know about other religions as well

@PurpleKel87 I get what you mean! Great write 👏😘

@PurpleKel87 the reason good ppl struggle is because through their hardship they learn to trust in God all the more. When someone goes through something personal and they come across someone who goes through the same thing they say from personal experience that they know what it's like and they can encourage that person Mir so than someone who hasn't been there ya know. That person can feel more of a connection cuz they that others have been there but made it through :)

Personally*

@PurpleKel87 oh and thanks for the repost

Yes what @FriendToAnimals said and also, God will fill you in your life. No other things will. No drugs, no people, no husbands/wives, and no material thing. And when life throws really hard things at you, trust God and he will take care of you. My 12-year old died of cancer a month ago and it really hurt me inside. God helped me be happy and I knew she was in Heaven because she was a Christian. Jesus died on the cross for you and your sins so if you believe in him and love him, you'll be in Heaven for eternity. He loves you and made you special 😊

@PurpleKel87 idk if you have a kik but if you have any questions or just want to talk you can find me there :)

@FriendToAnimals I don't have kik unfortunately. Thank you for your kind offer.
