Hey guys, I've finished looking through all the lovely pieces I got. I appreciate the time you put into your pieces as well as all the reposts for the challenge!
Firstly, I want to tell you all how incredibly diverse your poems were. I’m so happy you guys tried to think outside the box for me!
For those who didn't place, don't fret! I loved all of your pieces a bunch; they were all specially unique in my eyes. So, you're all winners!
So here are the final results:
In 3rd place is Samantha (@paintingskies) with “Spring Fever”. I just fell for this poem because of its creative phrases and its adorable idea. Loved the word choice and structure, great job, Samantha!
For 2nd, I chose Sienna’s (@sjw) “The Awakening.” I loved the description and imagery--it blew my mind! Fabulous rhyming and idea for the poem. It was sweet but had a certain boldness. Love it, Sienna!
Finally, 1st place goes to Emma (@emjez) with her piece “Acrostic Reality”: a cleverly-written piece about allergy season! The piece demonstrated the loveliness of springtime, but also it’s negative, nasty counterpart: ALLERGIES! It had a nice flow and rhyme and really held my favor. Congratulations, Emma!
Check out these ladies’ lovely pieces and give them a thumbs up! Congrats to all of you and I hope to be your judge again one day--’til then, it’s all yours, Emma.
