(One I started after another failed attempt to go out and enjoy a friends birthday at the weekend)

When your at a party surrounded by so many people you know, But still feel totally alone.
Feeling a little lonely Deep down in side I have a free night tonight But no one come wil ride. A few hours out is all I ask Painting the town But no one wants to no me I feel like a clown.
If I close my eyes tight. And turn off the light. If I nuzzle into my pillow. And weep just like a willow. If I try not to make a sound. And ignore some of those around. If I focus on my dreams.

I'm actually really shy. I don't really know why. I think I'd rather be alone. Maybe send a text or two on my phone. I am social don't get me wrong. I'm not weird or anything I just don't belong.
Depression What is it, really. A state of mind. Or an emotion. Or does it really matter. Because either way, you're stuck. You can't fight the depression. You're rendered useless; it's too powerful.
Nothing is right, I'm out of line, Pieces missing, Losing time, Sleep though the day, Awake all night, Run when I should Stand and fight.
What do you do when you feel sad. I feel like there's something heavy inside me. I don't feel like moving or saying anything. My heart sighs as if nothing is going right.
@redfae I did end up out but done my usual diapering act. Ended up catching a train home alone at midnight.
@MrAlex Yeah that's what I do but I always end up feeling like that and leaving, I'm ok now, I'm used to it. Hopefully I will feel better over timeπ

@Stablish it's hard if you are so sensitive. The only reassuring thing is that there are lots of us aliens out there. I have always 'acted' confident and people are happy to believe it's who I really am. Keep fighting π½
@Stablish @crowncottage Yep, that mask thing... I see happy faces, but I often feel.....disconnected π³ Been teaching myself to mirror a bit though and it def can help. Hope you find some peace with it π
