iPhone

In my life
There was a time
When you had yours
And I had mine
Ordinary phones
That just made calls
Nothing less
Nothing more.
But now we've got
Our pieces of fruit
For texting, photos,
Games where you shoot,
Pictures, diaries,
Videos too
Maps of the underground
And maps of the zoo.
It tells you when
You are late
I've got one
And so has my mate.
If there's anything else
That you want more
Just look it up
On the App Store
For sure it'll be there
No matter what you want
A recipe book
Or somebody to haunt
For in a swipe
A zombie you will be
With bitten off nose
And blood stained feet
They say "an apple a day
Will keep the doctor away"
They're so damned right
Even through the night
My iPhone is with me
All the time
On it I wrote
This little rhyme.
So next time your contract
Is due to renew
My best advice
I could give to you
Forget your blackberries
Samsungs too
Get an iPhone
It's the one for you!

There Is No 'Reality'?

#ProjectHumanity A paperless place, Just wires and lines, And online transactions, And alerts, symbols, signs. A place without pencils, Just pixels and grit, As many computers, That can possibly fit.

Wasted Youth?

In response to @Nom. Sorry my mind wanders a bit. Sure people can be glued to their phones, But the people affected aren't kids alone.

Are We Too Busy?

Unaware. Places to be. Things to do. Go.Go.Go. Don't care. No time to be grateful. Then how is there time to be hateful.

Have You Noticed?

Has any one noticed how meaningless our conversations and daily lives have become. We talk just to talk. We have no reason to talk any more other than to fill an empty void.
