In every park, at every school, we hear,
"My Daddy's smarter and stronger than yours!"
Too many churches, too many sermons,
Make the same claim, compounded by curse.
"My way is right! Disagreement means doom!"
But every culture throughout history,
Each with its own icons and images,
Has forged its own path to divinity.
This does not mean our Dads are not real.
This does not mean our Gods are not good.
This only means, as people, we're shallow.
Our spiritual nature is misunderstood.

@blindsilence You might find this interesting, it does relate to your earlier post today. I first wrote this as a response to DaddyDooDah, who wrote a piece called Gods. I greatly enjoy discussions about this topic, without taking offense at contrary opinions.
