With a generous dose of spice;
A saucy treat with lots of heat
And best when warmed up twice.
Moist and tender masa dough
Protected by a sturdy husk
But what's within's what makes me grin
From morning, noon to dusk.

@MrsS It's soft cornmeal dough(masa) stuffed with spiced, tender meat, or cheese and chile peppers, all wrapped in a corn husk and steamed. They are delicious! Steaming the cornmeal turns it into something akin to polenta, and the corn husk is a pre-industrial, biodegradable wrapper.
