Unseen Light

Pausing to still the leaf crunching, twig snapping foot step disturbance,
Letting intrusion ripple away, until the slow re-emergence
Of the chattering, murmuring chorus of life the forest sings:
Skittering squirrels, vigilant birds, feedback buzz of insect wings.
Sunbeam spears pierce breeze dancing branches, capturing motes in flight.
Intricate ribbons of interconnection, spiderwebs spun of light
Holding together this delicate, cycling, kaleidoscope maze.
Fractals of proteins, exchanging, rebuilding in so many ways.

Nature Sensed

@Emma_33 #poem. I sat and watched. As a spider spun its web of beauty. The most wonderful sight. I'm ever likely to see. I laid and listened. As the thunder roared and the rain crashed down.

Night

Slowly creeping. On the horizon. Following the sun. Turning light. Into darkness. A new time. A new world unseen. Deadly creatures come. Glowing flowers bloom. I'm the dead of night.
