Someone New

Today someone told me,
You'd found someone new,
A girl that you love,
And she's a lot like you.

It felt like my heart,
Had been ripped out of my chest,
I was expecting this though,
I should have guessed.

I knew you'd move on,
Quicker than me.
My heart's still broken,
While yours has mended swiftly.

It pains me to realise,
I'm no longer the one
You love and care for.
It's over. It's done.

Maybe one day though,

Who makes me feel whole.
Someone like you.
