As he opened the door, he saw it. More skeletons, but in the corner, by itself, was a little boy. He didn't understand it, how did the kid get there when the floor only collapsed under David's weight. He rubbed his eyes, and the boy had disappeared. David was speechless. How? Why? Was the house alive?...
If only he knew the truth.
He took a look around the room and in one corner was another door, this time the door was bigger, more posh. He opened it and saw a man, whimpering in the corner. The man had a big grey beard, and looked as though he hadn't seen another human being in years. David approached him cautiously. He didn't want to scare him, but he wanted to know that he wasn't a ghost. That was when the man spoke...
"I thought it couldn't have been true. No way. But it is, it is, it is. but it is ..."
David gave him an odd look. This guy wasn't making any sense. But hey, at least he was a human being and could talk to David.
David spoke
"Are you alright sir? My name is .."
"I know your name David Jones!"
David jumped back in horror. How on earth did this weird old guy know his name?
"Excuse me?" those were the only words David could say. He was as still as a lifeless statue. He couldn't move. He found his throat become dry, his head began to pound, and then he noticed the person's eyes. How could he not have noticed them yet? They were glowing ...
