The Grass Girl (P3)

"Ugh, there's grass up my nose!" I squealed as Paul busily began sprinkling grass over my mouth.
That wasn't the best idea.
Paul laughed as I began spitting blades of grass from my mouth.
He looked at me for a moment, and then grabbed Carrie's cell phone.
"I'm gonna take a picture of you Emily, you look kind of cool."
I rolled my eyes.
It had been only four days since I had inflicted self-harm on myself. Paul was getting better about what had happened, but the fear of what I had done still remained inside of me.
I pondered this as Paul snapped a picture of my peeking eyes, which were the only thing Paul didn't cover with grass.
I felt a gentle tickle on my back, and tried not to flinch.
"There is something crawling on my back!" I screeched.
My friends burst into laughter.
"You can get out, soon! We're just gonna take some pictures! You can't even see you! You look like just another patch of grass! It's so cool!"
I tried to stay still as they took an eternity to take pictures. Then, the tickling on my back becoming unbearable, I yelled, "That's it, guys! I'm coming out whether you like it or not!"

Writing is my life. Forever. I want to be an author when I grow up. I write all the time. When I'm happy, sad, angry...it's an escape. Oh, and I love green hearts. I absolutely love them.
