Weight of the world on a 4 Year Old...

(Please read the beginning to understand the story.)

When mum started to go in the 'phases' which is hard to really explain what happens when she does - but it's like she's reacting something thats happened in her turbulence past. She doesn't recall that your there while it happens, even though you call, shout or even shake her. Imagine how it was for me at that age, again I didn't understand what was going on and when she came back to normal it's like nothing happened and she'll just brush it off like I was the crazy child.

I remember one day she took we went out shopping at our local supermarket and then on the way back home she phased out and went into a really bad fit where she just dropped the shopping and started to hit herself - I was so frighten that she was gonna run into the road and kill herself, I started to cry, people passing by were looking at us both but no one offered any help at all. She eventually came to herself again after it seemed like the longest 5 minutes of my short life, mum was in shock to see me there standing with the shopping all round my face bathe in my own tears...
