Isn't it sad to be a pair in a deck of cards.
This is new to me;. Held at gunpoint of such reverie. Once I painted my words on shipwrecks of old. Or fed them to lonely wolves out in the cold. But I see it now; no such thing as a dark everlasting.

At first read, I didn't interpret it the as expected...I just imagined laying back in 'wild water, away from prying eyes & letting the stresses of life flow from me. The letter part, I interpreted as not sharing this beautiful sanctuary I'd found. The wonder of interpretation! Either way, it's a great piece😌😚

I've just realised I used your phrase 'sweet release' and I apologise! I didn't consciously copy but I guess something stuck in my head whilst I wrote mine. This is beautiful!
