I was so upset about something I created in my mind that I failed to stop and realise other people's sorrows for a while.
'other people have it a lot worse' is something what my mon would say if her children are having a bad day.
And today I realise the absolute truth behind her words. When I saw a friend of mine post how sad her current relationship is and how she wished she could turn back time given the chance, I realise that she has it a lot worse than me. This is a girl who is at a reality where happiness comes by only on a rare occasion, where my happiness is so far around the corner every day. I her the words 'I Love You' more than others hear in a lifetime and I have friends and family who listen to what I say and say harsh things to make me come to my senses because they know I need it. And for that I am eternally grateful. For all the bad times because it proved to me the people who'd stand by me during the storm. Who never left and braced everything with me. It's a much better place to be than that girl who's all alone and feels like everything is at a standstill.
So yes, I'm not so tragic after all now am I ?
