We headed back to Roses locker first, but as we were doing so Mr.Parkins walked past, he gave us a nod of approval and we smiled back at him-he seemed pleased.
Rose looked at her timetable. "Hey wait, I need a new one hehe! We gotta use yours so..get yours and just give me a yell so I know what subjects K?" she asked.
"Oh yeah of course!"I said almost forgetting.
I sprinted to my locker, my combination worked in one go for once! I looked at my timetable, just a double English-but that's okay because we're watching a movie,so I just have to take notes.
"OI ROSE!" I holler so she can hear me. "YEAH?" she yells back. "WE HAVE A DOUBLE ENGLISH K?"I yell again.
"OKAY!" she thanks me.
"SHUT UP CASEY" Cleo yells jokingly even though she was right beside me.
"Shuddup yourself" I reply elbowing her and sticking my tongue out and winking at her,
We both laugh and close our lockers at the same time.I turn around and Rose is already at my locker. "Ready?" I say.
"Yep!" she replies.
"Cool" I say, as we walk to class.
We lined up outside Miss Kaye's class. And to our surprise (and my delight)
The new guy is standing in the guys line.. For OUR class. I can not believe it.
Rose squeezes my hand, I squeeze hers back, I can fe my heart racing a thousand miles an hour.
"In our class.."I whisper.
Miss Kaye hushes us all and we walk into class silently.
"Now class," she says gently."As you may have already seen him round the school, we have a new student- so would you please welcome," She paused-keeping me in suspense," Kyle!" she said.
Everybody clapped and some girls winked at him, yet he paid no attention, he looked ahead and politely thanked miss Kaye. His voice... Was breath taking...
"Kyle..." I whispered to myself- his name rolled off my tongue so easily... I felt so magical when I said it.So that's what it is... "kyyle..." I giggled to myself. To bad I didn't have a cool name like Sapphire or emerald... Or a stone name-they seem
So exotic.
Miss Kaye wasted time no more, she quickly began playing the DVD and we watched quietly..
I started getting shivers down my spine, do you ever get the feeling someone's watching you?
I was thinking about this when I felt a jab in the ribs. It was Rose, staring straight ahead like was watching the movie.With a sky grin she says,"Look behind ya hun."
I slowly turned my neck around, and caught Kyle looking at me- we held each others gaze for a few seconds.. They felt like hours.. And of course-as my cheeks like doing-I blushed.. And he saw.
I quickly turned around to face the electronic whiteboard and hung my head-still feeling embarrassed that he saw me blush.
