The children awake,
For advents sake,
At 6 'o clock in the morning.
A chocolate rabbit,
Pushed up my nose,
While I was happily snoring.
'How many days now?!'
'How many days now?!'
They babble and bleep.
'23!' I scream, '23!'
'Now get back to sleep'
They jump on my head,
Get into my bed,
And nag me to make decorations,
'It's Sunday' , I beg
'It's Sunday' , I beg
But they ignore my remonstrations.
'Go back to your room,
It's not school day remember?'
'But Dad', they plead,
'It's the second day of December!'
I eat the chocolate rabbit,
And his chocolate limbs I do dismember.
