The Town Forest

'I just don't get it, you drive by and everyone thinks this town looks beautiful, thats why we moved here'
'I know Lexi thats the point, you move here and you are trapped, they don't let you back out, thats why everything we ever need is in one place, the town gets bigger and better, but you should never go by the forest. Never.'
'But the road, it goes around the back of the town and straight through the forest at the back of town, theres no houses there, no shops nothing to look at, just dead looking trees'
'The woods by the side of town and up front they draw you in here, they keep you here all pretty and seductive, the lure of a new fantastic life, but the back, is the opposite, you better make yourself comfy here Lex, because your here for the long haul. You understand?'
'Whatever Alice I don't believe these horror stories every town has one, and none of them are true!'
Everyone is milling around preparing for class when shes hears a dark smooth voice,
'Have you ever been to a town like ours?'
