Only

A man once said "it's only words"
But that is strictly for the birds
For words are good words are great
Words spread love and nurture hate
They help us thru our darkest hour
With a subtle, gentle power
They lilt and float and sometimes rhyme
They'll be around for all of time
Make me feel and keep me sane
Help me write what's in my brain
Sometimes shallow sometimes deep
Make me happy make me weep
But most of all be there for me
'Cos without you there's no poetry

Perfection
