Tricky Techniques

Rhyme, metaphor, onomatopoeia,
Similie, symbolism, personification.
To all those tricky writing techniques,
You deserve a standing ovation.
The only dilemma is,
Your all a little too picky,
Putting you all in one small poem
May prove slightly tricky.
So shoot me if I don't,
I honestly try my best,
Sorry to disappoint,
But you make my brain a birds nest!
I can't make words sing for me,
Or BOOM! And a poem appears,
You make blood flow in my mouth,
For my words are as sharp as shears!
So to conclude this short little poem,
I'd like to apologise,
For my songs aren't clever,
Or good or witty or wise.

What's funny is I used all 6 writing techniques in that poem.
