Poetry is supposed to be an outlet
An outpour of emotions and thoughts
But to sit down and write a poem is rarely easy
My head gets too caught up in what should be CAPITALIZED and lowercased
In where a comma should go, or where one shouldn't
In whether or not I have the time to make a rhyme
In whether or not my poem will be read
And finally
in what way should my poem end?
Should it be dragged out with long and flowing and loquacious words
Or should I do something clever? Something to make people remember it.
Maybe it should be abrupt and sweet. Like when your words get cut off in your throat just on their way out of your mou
