Take a bright but lonely star and put it gently in your pocket
Take a piece of clear blue sky and keep it safe within a locket
Take a freshly broken heart, gather its pieces, make them warm
And glue them back together with the magic you perform
Take emotions from the oceans, spread their fragrance everywhere
Take the essence of commotion, simply remove it from the air
Take a soul that had been splintered, softly kiss away its pain
And cradle it so tenderly until it's whole again
Take a little piece of day and a little piece of night
Take the time you need to fuse them into beautiful twilight
Take a raging furious tempest, help it breathe calmly once more
And then take the wind of change and make it show us what it's for
Take the newly minted moon and upon it plant your love
Take me to the heavens, we'll watch it grow from high above
Take every dream and wish, you seem to make them all come true
And even if you can't, all that I'll ever need is you
