The Beast

The beast's wings spread out, bright colours glinted in hot summer sun. It's body was dark green in colour, like the leaves of a holly bush. It's scales glittered and sparkled on its back. The beast's velvety belly brushed against the floor as it launched into flight . It soared above the fluffy white clouds, tail swooping down. It's spiked tip knocking down whole fir trees before splashing into the sea.
The splash exploded upwards; droplets of water sprinkled over the surrounding beaches and forests.
Blue eyes stared out of a head covered in horns. The beast looked magnificent reflected in the crystal clear water.
