Now It's Over

It's funny how you never see what someone's like until they're gone,
All the time you wasted and realization you were wrong.
They never really loved you, you were a means to an end,
They were meant to your soul mate, your lover, your best friend.
It's only when you look back on all the times that you once shared,
They were only in it for themselves they never really cared.
All the nice things that they told you when you first started out,
Had you thinking that they were the one without a shadow of a doubt.
But now it is all over and you can finally see,
They never thought of us us us only thought of me me me.
So now I want to thank you for the person you have made,
And rest assured that thanks to you I won't make that same mistake.
