I'm only family when it suits you,
This used to burn a little inside,
But I stopped caring long ago,
When you've got the devil for your father,
You learn to toughen up your bones.
Family starts to mean little,
When your Involved with mine,
Where one family is said to be so perfect,
They can do no crime.
The others are just second best,
While we're the last.
It bothers me that your favourites are plain to see,
And that you attack the rest quite obviously,
It's a bit ridiculous frankly,
Thinking we've no idea how you work,
But inside your head we know all your thoughts and strategies.
No one can comment on this charade,
Because family politics demands we play along,
And survive this twisted game of so called family love...
