Road side Murders always tend to start the same way.
Take this for example...
There's a vulnerable looking girl on the side of the road walking.
She's clutching her arms close because she's cold.
Her heads bowed down because she's scared someone will notice her and she's frightened to look up,
And you know that when you see her face it'll be blotchy red from the cold and her eyes shiny from unshed tears.
Now the way it usually plays out is that a car ," just randomly", passes by and the driver, who happens to be a male, slows the car down to a stop.
The girl stops to look at the car as the man gets out.
He's an average looking bloke.
Absolutely nothing special about him.
He smiles "Are you ok hunny?"
She nods, biting her lip to stop the tears from shedding.
And says "My boyfriend just dumped me and left me out on the side of the highway, I've been walking for hours! I think...I think I'm lost..."
"Awww" the man says licking his lips, his eyes alight sickeningly.
"Here come with me, you tell me your address and I'll drop you home. Wouldn't do for your parents to be worried now would it!"
She agrees, her lip wobbling.
"Oh thank you! How can I repay you?"
"Don't worry hunny you already have..."
With that she gets into the car.
Next thing you know there's a dead body on the highway...
And the report of the untimely death shows this:

Hmmm...something tells me he didn't expect me to be the killer either....
