Though I love the rain
It makes me wish
For a dry sunny day
Where I'm sat
With a glass in hand
Kiss my woes away
The light through the trees
Make the colours vibrant
Bright flickering colours
We listen to the birdsong
Enjoying natures gift
Holding the hand of my lover
For now we have rain
Pouring its love upon us
Giving its life to us all
The lazy days of summer
Will have to wait
Until the raindrops cease to fall

Writing has been my friend since a teenager...I laugh, cry, think, pretend, smile as I do it. I feel that I communicate better through my writing as in person I can appear a tad scatty.
Summer, winter, fall, spring, Whatever the weather You always hear them sing. Swirl in your sheets, As their songs fill the air, With different greets.
Whether or not. We'll always have weather. Sometimes cold and sometimes hot✨. Days of freezing gentle snow. Icy winds that blow and blow. Fog and mist that deadens sound⛄.
Wind chimes on a stormy night, If you wish, come true it might. Spinning, swirling, Twisting, twirling, They sing like angels, they soar like kites.
The day is over all too soon. Let's sit awhile by light of moon. Late night whispers of cloud float by. Beauty captured in your eye. Try to catch a falling star. The sweetest thing I know by far.
A lovely depiction of that wonderful stuff (that, quite frankly, is now starting to get on my nerves, as it's raining too much!!!😠) But somehow, you made me appreciate it again 😊 x
