A fluttering wind
Then a gentle breeze
Reminds us that winter
Is now at ease
A new sun smiles
Bringing its delights
To each and all
Taking us to new heights
A child's laughter
Can be forever heard
Thought of fondly
And sweetly remembered
The sweet smell
Of a new summer hails
Appeasing my wintry self
And bringing more tales

Writing has been my friend since a teenager...I laugh, cry, think, pretend, smile as I do it. I feel that I communicate better through my writing as in person I can appear a tad scatty.
Last comes the winter in a flurry of snow To school and work we don't go, We grab out sledges & crash in to hedges & at the end of the day we go home.
Winter Approaches At a slow pace Until floosh. All of a sudden Here. Happy To see you, no matter what you desire.
Summer and spring has been and gone, Now autumn and winter will take so long, The cold brittle air, And the dampness is of course very fare.
Winter is a frosty time Full of balls of snow Because of all the icy roads There is nowhere to go. Spring comes afterwards. A fresher, newer time Easter eggs and flavours Such as orange lemon...
The leaves change colors forming a rainbow in the trees. The air becomes colder, more crisp and fresh. Rain becomes more frequent, the air less dry. Summer comes to an end, bring fall a new season.
Snow, snow, snow, Christmas is coming near, Santa's sleigh you might hear. Snow, snow, snow, Winter wind blowing me away, Snow angels, in the snow they lay.
We begin with summer, When heat is all, When leaves and flowers, And ivy crawl, The heat is harsh, And loved by some, When others wish- -for a little less sun.
As we leave the winter behind, I've written a little something to remind us about what the very best parts are about.
