I'm having a writer's block,
I'm not sure what to do.
I know what I want to write,
But I'm not sure how to.
All my recent poems,
All my recent writes,
Don't get a single comment,
Or just scrape one like.
My words are suddenly clouded,
By dark, unwanted smoke,
I'm not sure how to clear it,
How to stop this provoke.
I'm having a writer's block,
I'm not sure what to do.
If anything can help me,
It has to me one of you.

Fourteen, love music, love, reading, writing, and allowing my emotions sink into the paper.
I have a great idea. So I begin to write. Get the first stanza. Then have a fight. I know the words. Hiding deep in my mind. But they don't come. I look to find. Writers block. Loud and proud.
Staring at this empty page. It's same-width lines a paper cage. So many thoughts I know are there, But all I do is sigh and stare. Wishing I could write and write, Instead the page looks on with...
I have been starring at this screen for hours. I have even tried taking a nice warm shower. I have never had such trouble finding words. I believe that this is all rather absurd.
I gaze upon my blank canvass. Then I stare at the words above. Im amazed at the words that appear. When my thumbs are free and un cuffed. I often think they have little meaning.
My minds been blank all day, I really don't have anything to say. Sitting here trying to write something, I'd be happy if I could write anything.
I have not a word to write The paper's never seemed so white My pen is weeping opaque tears I'm overwhelmed with creeping fears It appears my words have abandoned me In a tacit, calm, cacophony...
So I guess its back to this again Stuck, Lost for inspiration I guess it's back to this dead end In a rut, cross and pacing This writers block title Is becoming quite vital To snap...
It starts with pen and paper, Typewriter, print or screen.
Don't worry about likes for a start,just putting pressure on yourself! Just relax and don't rush it! Why not try the weekly opuss challenge and have a bit of fun? π
I have this app, called A Novel Idea. It has formats for everything a story would need, if you write stories. When I get stuck, I tend to go in and make up characters. Even if I don't use them, it's still fun!
