I threw a bottle in the sea,
Inside; a tiny piece of me,
Set adrift on a falling tide,
Left to waters vast and wide,
A small slither of my soul,
To leave me with a tiny hole,
Sent on waves of blue and green,
To a far off land, none have seen,
Tied in a piece of silver silk,
The small slice, white as milk,
I tore it from my lonely heart,
To send to you, lost in dark,
For black storm clouds gather,
Over a sea churned in a lather,
He fears the black, swarming evil,
Lost in the old moon's upheaval,
The slice of silver soul shines on,
To help draw in the new dawn,
So, cast out your rod,
Mr Fisherman,
I send you some soul,
As a helping hand.
