The good old' times

When you were a child, sorrow passed as clouds on rainy days,
the world was small,
your parents were invincible heroes, they could cure all problems in the world,
pain was temporary,
heartache was yesterday's problems,
and now,
as we grow older,
we learn to know,
that sorrow, heartache and pain may last a lifetime,
your parents cannot cure all worlds problems,
the world has issues and is so big it contains billions of people.
Now, kids grow up even faster than we did. Technology has introduced them to things they are too young to understand.
But you can keep your childhood, step back into the fantasy world and take a break.
Would you? Would you pick up a book and let yourself become young and worryless again?
I would.

Coffee Table Stage

The sunset shone a reddish gold. Upon two girls, just eight years old. They twirled and spun, they sang and danced. Lost within a youthful trance. A coffee table was their stage.
