Watch Over Me!

A face of ashen,
It was apparent then,
Not long left,
Before she took her last breath,
Laying in a bed of white,
October day light,
Slowly fading drifting away,
For her there's no tomorrow only today,
Love you's spoken,
Our promises broken,
She was dying,
We were lying,
We said she'd be ok,
What were we supposed to say,
She'd lost so much weight,
She hardly ate,
Colour drained from her face,
Leaving the ashen look in its place,
When she took her last breath,
The clocks stopped she had left,
To play with the angels in the sky,
Why she was taken I don't know why,
Now she's watching over me,
With wings of an angel and cancer free.

The Dirty Patches

The patch of dirt on grassy lawn speaks louder then the stone that lies above the slushy mud where grass is neatly grown. The only thing that I can smell is metal, sterile, clean.

Proud

Mother, you did me right, you carried me nine months in womb, sacred tomb of your soul. Bore pain in birth like no man would suffer for me; you loved me more for that, than any man would ever dare.

Last Words

The words have been leaked from the pen. Holy words that no one wanted to say back than. But someone had to come out and put it right. Someone decided to say with their last night.
