Chapter 3

Jane didn't talk to Frank that day, her eyes were red from crying over night.
What Frank was afraid of, happened that night. He talked while he was asleep. And Jane heard everything. That he still loves Sarah. How can't he forget her after so many years? She knows it's hard to get over death, especially over the loved one's death, but it was almost 6 years ago and she couldn't understand why it's eating up his fiancΓ©, why can't he be happy with her? It's a match made in heaven, so who wants to screw up everything between them?
***
What if the body dies, but the soul still wants to live? What if the soul on the way to the endless time and space changes it's path, goes backwards, returns to the body it gave it's home?
Many times, the body comes alive again and people who were dead for minutes tell stories about a corridor and bright lights.
And what if the soul returns, but the body isn't capable of coming alive again?

That's what happened to Sarah. She doesn't know it, she's not making Frank's life miserable, because she wants to. Lost souls are always going back to their loves, giving them sweet dreams or nightmares, some can live with them, some can't.
And Frank was one of them who couldn't cope with his dreams and illusions.
***
Jane was the one who found Frank's body on the bathrooms floor.
She knew something was wrong with him and it got worse this month, but she thought he was just excited about the proposal he made her last week.
But it wasn't the reason for his anxious behaviour. And now he's lying there on the floor, dead and helpless, covered with his own blood. He left behind a woman who loved him so much, her whole body is shaking now and her mind is ready to go insane. How couldn't she see that Frank needed help? If she really loved him, why didn't she get some help? It's too late now and no one can tell her that nothing could have helped Frank.
***
Sarah knew what she had to do, she remembered the corridor, the bright lights and the door.
She took Frank's hand and without saying anything, lead him to the door.
They walked in and it seemed like everyone knew their arrival. Billy ran into their arms, he showed everything around that wonderful place, what doesn't have an ending and where time was unknown.

Very good

@glensaggs thank you!!!:)

Such a beautiful concept - I love the idea that a soul returns to its love. Makes you think about how deep life is, and how there is so much more to it than life and death

@tgriffiths42 I'm sooo happy you like it!!!:)

We just have to patiently await your next bout of inspiration :-) I'll keep my eyes pealed!
