Chapter 9
It was coming from my elbow. Not the worst place to get hurt, but pretty painful. There was a deep gash from where it looks like a fine slice of ice cut through. I wince when I touch it. It stings and is bleeding a river of dark maroon like blood. If I loose to much blood I could pass out again, or even worse. So I decode to point it out.
"Ow." I moan and point to my elbow. I nudge Mary who is carrying me still.
"Looks like it hurts." she says "Hopefully you won't loose much blood by the time we get to the hut." We don't have real docters near the hut. Just a few older ladies more experienced with injuries then us I suppose.

When we finally arive to the hut I am imediantly surrounded by ladies. They bring over there equitment and stitch the opening. I feal like I am going to scream my head off, but I just hold my breath and squeeze my eyes shut. Mary and Zachary put their hands on my shoulders to confort me.
When it ended I just wanted to sleep. I lied down and thought of the things that happened in the last couple of days. Toby, leaving me, Steven, dragging me then dropping me on the ice. Everything is happening to fast, I don't know who my friends are anymore. I fall asleep just like that, thinking, tears in my eyes, in pain, on cold tar and sleep. Waiting for what the next day will bring me.
