Green Eyes

Do you know the feeling?
When it is awkward to stare into your own eyes
When you look into the mirror and you know it is just lies
When all that you've worked for has led to this
And you just don't have the heart to give it a miss
But your green eyes, they sparkle,
They are full of hope and pain
They tell you that one day you will become somewhat sane
They will help your memory get better
As you grow each day
And your heart will grow stronger
And maybe withhold the pain
