She loved him,
And loves him still,
But he won't listen,
Never will,
They're 'just friends'
To him, nothing more,
But she has never,
Felt this way before,
She looks at him,
With longing eyes,
Never wanting,
To say goodbye,
We all thought it was perfect,
That they were in love,
That they were a couple,
Sent down from above,
The way she would look at him,
The way they would talk,
The way they would sit together,
They way they would walk,
But then he told everyone,
The love wasn't true,
For he loved another, not her,
While she wondered, who?
'Am I really not enough for him?
Although I've been there all along?'
Her inner sorrows coming out,
To join in her heart's song,
Left all alone,
Heart torn apart,
He never liked her,
Lies from the start,
He went to ask the other,
If she felt the same way,
She rejected him, coldly,
Threw his heart away,
He stood there in silence,
Tears falling around,
Trying to scream,
But not a sound,
She saw him crying,
Went to his side,
Forgot all her sorrow,
To heal his heart that died,
They sat there together,
Her comforting him,
Wishing that one day,
His heart she would win,
He ignored all her help,
Chased the other girl,
Not knowing that he,
Had shattered her world,
She followed him softly,
Picked up his broken heart,
Held him in her arms, to tell him,
That she loved him from the start.
