Your picture's with me everywhere
I like to feel your eyes upon me
At times, I still, just stop and stare
Not content to let you be
I know the hour your lights go out
The time you go to bed
Watching you both from afar
Knowing it should be me instead
The meetings you have throughout your day
The trains you catch to get there
Unseen I watch your every move
Through our fantasy affair
Some days I wander round your house
And pretend its yours and mine
I lay on your pillow...
rearrange your drawers
It helps to pass the time
I wouldn't say that I am bitter
Or consumed by jealous hate
I KNOW we'll be together
I don't care how long I wait
But the blood that courses through my veins
Has turned a septic green
It's infected me with envy
And only you can make me clean.
