So many the first time, looked up to you
The truth was revealed, and all fooled then knew
That your pilfering ways
Day after day
Meant words you said
Simply weren't true
So you returned for a 'joke' or a 'test'
Aroused suspicions and writers unrest
You think you're so smart
But lack decency and heart
With an obsession for attention you're possessed
For someone so full
of angst and woe
Original words should just flow
But look back in time
And it's clear so many rhymes
Were poached right from the word
Go
With a belief that stealing a 'line here and there'
For the sake of your work, you say it's only fair
But when full paragraphs are gleaned
From anothers work who you've screened
It's straight plagiarism
And that, we really can't bear
Insecurity, low self esteem
Maybe caused the cloud in your dreams
And so, true originals who attempted
To find solace in their sentences
Have had their words ripped &
Stolen at the seams
So don't give us that line that you're sorry
Heard it once, twice, three times before
You brazenly carried on, as if nothing was wrong
Just another cheap word pimping...
Bore.
