Love You So: PART TWENTY SEVEN

Prom was taking place in 3 days, and I'm happy to say that I am 100% ready. I've got my dress, I've planned my hair and makeup, I've planned transport and the like, but most importantly, I have the man I love the most on my arm. Nothing could ruin this night - nothing.
In the meantime, I had one exam left - which was economics today. I knew neither Nate nor Mollie were taking economics, so I didn't think I'd see them that much today. The exam began at 9, so I texted Nate as soon as I woke up to tell him that I wouldn't need taking to my exam, as I didn't want to think that he was up just for it.
He replied, thanking me, and wishing me luck. I went to the exam alone, and I didn't have the two faces I loved to see the most when I walked down the long aisles of chairs and desks. It was a shame, but I knew I'd go back and see them in an hour and fifteen minutes. In the meanwhile, I had to focus on this exam: this was arguably the most important subject I was sitting. My father had graduated from Columbia with economics, and he was pretty set up for life. I decided, therefore, that economics would be what I fall back on. I had to make it as strong as possible in order to have it act like a safety net.
The exam flew past, but all in all the exam went positively. Some questions were hard, some were long, and some were just plain confusing, but I gave everything my best shot so I think it should have gone pretty well.
As my row was dismissed, I smiled at a few people as I left - mainly the girls who used to be in Isabelle's room. Since they had last seen her, they'd all heard about what happened that night, and Isabelle had been advised by the school and her family to spend a bit of time away from New York, as it was obviously getting to her a little bit. Last I heard was that she was visiting family on a farm in Ohio. Living with cows, that was where she belonged.
I made it to the end of the exam hall, and I looked back. This was the last time I was going to be in this hall until next summer and boy was I glad. I walked out the door to see my two favourite people waiting outside for me. Mollie was beaming, and so was Nate.
"How was it?" she asked, hugging me. As I explained, Nate held me close, which I found hard to bear on this stiflingly hot day; but I let him anyway. His arms were like home now, and no matter what happened, I was never going to grow tired of them or resist them.
He rested his chin on the top of my head, after complaining that my hair was burning hot. I playfully punched him, and suggested that we should go back up to our room (Nate was a new honorary member) and that I should change into something lighter so we could go out into the city, or just lie around sunbathing. Mollie made her excuses and left at this point, saying she needed to go and see family. We both understood, and as we walked away from her and the exam hall, a sense of relief passed over both of us; relief that now we could be as romantic as we liked without feeling pangs of guilt, and relief that exams were finally over. It was a nice feeling: a feeling of freedom, and a feeling that celebrations of ending our exams were going to be quite amazing.
We went up to my room, and I started to throw clothes out of my closet onto the bed where Nate was lying. He'd kind of taken up residence there when he wasn't in his own bed, and often it was just for convenience and that he was lazy, not that he wanted me on it too. After choosing a suitable outfit, I slipped off my dress and threw the shorts on as quickly as I could, with my back to Nate. I didn't want him getting any ideas, and I was wearing the same underwear as that night, so I knew about the intoxicating effect they had on him. I slipped the vest top on, allowing it to billow out a little at the sides, as it was made of chiffon. As I turned around Nate had his phone out and was texting someone.
"Who are you texting?" I asked, crawling onto the bed to sit with him.
"Hmm, oh Joe" he replied
"Oh okay, tell him to say hi to Ellie for me" I said.
"Sure, and by the way your attempt at not letting me see you in your underwear failed, as you forgot the mirror that was right in front of you." he said, not letting his eyes move from the screen.
"You saw it all?" I asked
"I saw it all" he replied, sounding very certain and slightly smug.
"Okay okay, don't sound too proud of yourself!" I joked, as he put his phone on my bedside cabinet.
"Now where was I? Oh yes, I saw you in your underwear again, and it was the same underwear as that night." he began in a low, quiet voice, which made my spine tingle, and his breath on my neck made me crave him. He traced his fingers along my shoulders, up my neck, along my jaw bone, cheekbones and forehead, not kissing me, knowing he was driving me insane.
"Let's go outside shall we? And see if we can improve that tan of yours?" he said, climbing off me and pulling me after him. I thrust my body into his, begging for one tiny kiss. As I moved in, he put a finger to my lips "Shhh, all in good time" he said, wrapping his arm around my waist and leading me outside.

Awesome

According to pages I've only written 18,000 words, so I don't think it's anywhere near long enough to be a novel.. How many more parts do you think there should be?

@KatyTiffanyNYC 30-35 because it sounds like the school is coming to the end of the term and the school year, so maybe do the prom, and the school goodbyes, then a brief idea of what there going to do in summer, you could also do a part two!

@tattyteddy like a sequel? Because I had quite a few ideas for a summer vacation...:) @TheViolator @Dj_Mac thank you :)

It's ok

@KatyTiffanyNYC that sound like a very good idea :)

@KatyTiffanyNYC yeah :) like a sequel, because it's so good I think you should write a no. Two :)
