Do not laminate the children,
Do not cover them in glue,
Do not feed them coloured pencils,
These are things you must not do.
Do not set their clothes on fire,
Do not staple down their coats,
Do not teach them of the Vikings,
By igniting them on boats.
Do not lace their milk with poison,
Really, that is only kind,
Do not organise a trip to Spain,
And leave them all behind.
Do not paint them red and yellow,
Do not drop them off a cliff,
Do not tutor them about the sea,
By setting them adrift.
Try not to cover them in clay,
Or make them dance the Irish jig,
Just do not laminate the children,
Lest you're chided by a pig.
