Things I'd Tell A 13 Year Old Me

I'd tell her never to worry about her weight,
I'd tell her to make more effort not to be late.
I'd tell her that things at home were about to get rough,
But I'd tell her not to worry - she's real tough.
I'd tell her to enjoy her last years of school,
I'd tell her not to only hang out with people that were 'cool'.
I'd tell her to study a whole lot more,
I'd tell her to walk in the garden barefoot and sometimes sit on the floor.
I'd tell her to be a lot nicer to her mum,
I'd tell her to never be under any guy's thumb.
I'd tell her to not complain about babysitting the girls,
Because of the closeness between us all that unfurls.
I'd tell her she's prettier than she assumes,
I'd tell her never to presume.
I'd tell her not to judge before someone opens their mouth,
I'd tell her to make the most of living in spain and down south.
I'd tell her to make the most of the sun.
But most of all to make sure she always has fun.

What have I learnt so far. Being 16 and all. I have learnt a smile is great. And to be nice and wait. Cause sometimes waiting is worth it. To enjoy every second every bit.

My Rant On Yesteryear

We all say 'Gosh, I'd love to live in the 60's.' or 'Life was so easy in 1992.' or something along those lines when we get all nostalgic. But what's so wrong with enjoying right now.

That is great and something that all thirteen year old girls should be told, if they have no little sisters that bit could be left out! πŸ˜„

@crowncottage ; haha, I'm the eldest of three, and these are things I tell them all the time. I'm glad you like it πŸ˜ŠπŸ’—

@PoppyA I certainly do, you are very wise for one so young! πŸ˜„ I think thirteen is a really difficult age for girls, I always tend to mention it to mothers with little daughters, just to warn them in advance! πŸ˜„πŸ˜„πŸ˜½

@crowncottage ; haha definately - it's hormone central!! πŸ˜„ teenagers should come with a warning sign on their backs πŸ˜„ πŸ’—

Haha nice πŸ˜œπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒ

@PoppyA I always say that babies should be born with a warning stamped on their bum, we obviously think alike! πŸ˜‰
