This Tainted Tulip
Isn't as it seems
Brown hair, blue eyes
And braces that gleamed

Bullied all my life
No dad in sight
Mostly on my own
Braved problems with all my might

Writing poems, songs and music
Playing guitar, piano, and violin
Expressing my emotion through anonymity
So no one see's my true pain

Usually "happy" around friends
I like to hug everyone
I want to be known
For who I am and always will be

No one would think
Such a happy girl
Could feel emotion
So raw and true

I am Lauryn, not Bell
I have a gay mother
I don't care what you say or do
But I know that

I will write
As if nobody
Will read
What I have to say
